How to soak fish maw ?

Standard Preparation Method: Steam Once → Cold Soak → Cook 新鲜花胶【蒸一次 → 冷藏浸泡 → 再煮】

Step 1: Cleaning 清洗

  • Rinse gently under cold water 冷水轻轻冲洗

Step 2: Steam Once (Key Step) 蒸一次(重点) (这是为了 定型 + 去腥 + 锁住胶质)

👉 This step helps to set the texture, remove fishy odor, and lock in collagen 为了 定型 + 去腥 + 锁住胶质

  • Bring water to a boil, then place the fish maw into the steamer 水滚后放入花胶

  • Steam over high heat for 8–12 minutes 大火蒸 8–12 分钟

Step 3: Cooling & Cold Soaking 冷却 + 冷藏浸泡 (👉 这一步是让花胶: 慢慢吸水 胶质稳定 口感更弹、不烂)

  • Allow the fish maw to cool completely 用 冷开水 / 过滤水 浸泡

  • Soak in cold boiled water or filtered water 用 冷开水 / 过滤水 浸泡 

  • Refrigerate for 6–12 hours 放冰箱冷藏 6–12 小时

  • Change the water once during soaking
